Over 13,000 students from 44 states and 67 countries attended NDSU in 2008 and this continued enrollment growth ensures vitality and diversity. NDSU offers more than 100 undergraduate and post-graduate majors.

NDSU is part of the Tri-College University, which means students at NDSU, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and Concordia College may take courses at either of the other two schools at no extra cost.

About 14% of new entering freshmen are first generation college students and 13% of students are enrolled part time. Nearly three-fourths of the full-time instructional faculty hold the highest degree in their fields.

    MSUM offers 165 majors, emphases and options; 16 areas of pre-professional studies; 13 graduate degree programs; and 32 areas of licensure preparation
