On John 4:1-15

While on our vacation, Leona noticed a hotel going up that was far away from the other hotels. I commented, “Who would want to go there when all the rest are on the river? Sure some might go there because it is new, but then they would want to go to the river.”

The same is true of our spiritual lives. We go after new things, but if we are to have spiritual lives we too need to go to the living water. We can’t be by ourselves. We need the Lord and each other to have our spirits grow.

ELECTRONIC GRAPEVINE

MEMBERS : This month is the beginning of the Electronic Grapevine. The Grapevine will be delivered via e-mail to anyone who we currently have an e-mail address for. I realize this list may not be complete, so I ask that if you do not receive Grapevine electronically but rather in the US Mail and would like to have it emailed, please email the church with your address. Also, if you get the Grapevine via e-mail and wish to have it by way of US Mail please leave a message through the email or a note in the secretary’s mail box so I can make the change.

NON MEMBERS : We would like to have an email address for each of you so we may continue to send the Grapevine to you if you wish to continue receiving it. Please send an email to wpcasselton@msn.com so I can add you to our electronic list.

Ash Wednesday Service, February 22, will be held at the Methodist Church at 6:30 pm. Soup and sandwiches will be served before the service at 6:00 pm.

Youth Group Schedule:

Feb 1, 8, 15 Regular Schedule.

Feb 22 - 5:30 meet at church to go together to the Methodist Church for Ash Wednesday Service.

Feb 29 - Regular schedule

March 2-3 Youth trip to Ottertail Lodge.

AWANA is asking for food and/or monetary donations to help defer the cost of the Wednesday evening meals for the Awana and youth programs.  There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.  If you have any questions contact Angela at 367-0650 or Joleen at 347-4901. Awana meets every Wednesday 3:30 to 5:15pm.

Worship and Ministries Committee will meet February 29^th at 7:00 pm.  Please note change in date.
